WoW is hosted by Jill from Breaking the Spine!
The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson
Once a century, one person is chosen for greatness.
Elisa is the chosen one.
But she is also the younger of two princesses, the one who has never done anything remarkable. She can’t see how she ever will.
Now, on her sixteenth birthday, she has become the secret wife of a handsome and worldly king—a king whose country is in turmoil. A king who needs the chosen one, not a failure of a princess.
And he’s not the only one who needs her. Savage enemies seething with dark magic are hunting her. A daring, determined revolutionary thinks she could be his people’s savior. And he looks at her in a way that no man has ever looked at her before. Soon it is not just her life, but her very heart that is at stake.
Elisa could be everything to those who need her most. If the prophecy is fulfilled. If she finds the power deep within herself. If she doesn’t die young.
Most of the chosen do.
Thoughts:
Do I need to explain why I'm so excited about this book?! I mean, who isn't?! This series seems to be really interesting and I'm really looking forward to read it!

Love, Inc. - Yvonne Collins & Sandy Rideout
Title: Love, Inc.
Author: Yvonne Collins & Sandy Rideout
Pages: 432
Pub. Date: January 4th, 2011
Source: Library
Zahra, Kali, and Syd would never have met if their parents' marriages hadn't fallen apart. But when the three girls collide in group counseling, they discover they have something else in common: they've each been triple-timed by the same nefarious charmer, Eric, aka Rico, aka Rick. Talk about eye-opening therapy.
Cheerful, diplomatic Zahra is devastated. Rico had been her rock and sole confidant. How could she have missed the signs? Folksy, flirtatious Kali feels almost as bad. She and Rick had only been on a few dates, but they'd felt so promising. Hardened vintage-vixen Syd is beyond tears. She and Eric had real history... Or so she'd thought. Now all three girls have one mission: to show that cheater the folly of his ways.
Project Payback is such a success, the girls soon have clients lining up for their consulting services. Is your boyfriend acting shady? Dying to know if your crush is into you? Need match-making expertise? Look no further than Love, Inc.
My Thoughts:
I loved this book! It was so cute. The characters were all important and the plot clear. The girls found out that they have the same boyfriend, so they want revenge.
The girls revenge were such a success that people are coming to them for help. The girls decide to help them. That's when Love, Inc. is born
The story was written from Zahra's point of view but you got to know Syd and Kali very well. While the girls helped people with their releationships, the girls had to deal with their own.
My favorite character in this book was Brody. He was so cute and sweet!
This is a perfect summer read. If you haven't read it yet, do that. It's really awesome!

Summer Love: Where is your ideal place to take a
summer vacation & get lost in a book?
I have many different places where I love to read! From the beach to my favorite couch! This summer I really want to travel somewhere so my ideal place to read would be on the airplane. I'm not kidding.
My friends thinks I'm weird that my favorite place to read is on the airplane since you don't travel every single week (maybe someone does, but not me!).
Sometimes, I don't like to read on the beach or outside either. I have a serious phobia from ALL and ANY kind of bugs. Can you believe me if I tell you that I'm scared of butterflies?! Butterflies?! I know, you're probably laughing at me right now and you have all the right to. I mean, who's scared of butterflies?! Well, yeah, I am. Last but not least; my room. I love to read in my room. Does that even need an explanation?
Where's your ideal place to take a vacation and read? Leave me a comment and I'll make sure to check it out!

Thirteen Reasons Why - Jay Asher
Title: Thirteen Reasons Why
Author: Jay Asher
Pages: 288
Pub. Date: October 18, 2007
Source: Library
Jay Asher's brilliant first novel is a moving, highly original story that focuses on a set of audiotapes made by a girl before she committed suicide, and which explain to 13 people the reasons why she decided to end her life. Told in a highly effective duel narrative -- alternating between the girl s voice and the thoughts of a boy who is listening -- this honest, poignant story reveals how other people's actions shape, and by extension can ruin, an individual's faith in people. Intensely powerful and painfully real, Thirteen Reasons Why reveals how brutal high school can be, the consequences of spreading rumors, and the lasting effects of suicide on those left behind.
My Thoughts:
Thirteen Reasons Why is a very beautiful story. I'd read a lot of great reviews for this book and decided to pick it up at the library. Not disappointed! To be honest, I really liked it. To read about the thirteen reasons why Hannah killed herself was incredible and I'm amazed of how Jay Asher could describe everything.
The characters in this book were all unforgettable and they all had they're own part in this book. Since I got the picture of Clay as innocent, I was very excited to read about the tape Hannah did about him. It was very surprising. I also enjoyed reading about the other twelve people. The fact that this all happened to Hannah and she had nobody to talk to is very hard.
I loved how Clay followed the map and went to the places where everything had happened. These people all had a big meaning in Hannah's life. This book reminds you of how you should treat others, I read and that is very true.
When I finished the book, I thought that this was based on a true story. It's not, though. Thirteen Reasons Why is an unforgettable story, which everyone should read!

Waiting On Wednesday (9)
Hey guys! This week I'm waiting for Want to go private? by Sarah Darer Littman.
WoW is hosted by Jill from Breaking the Spine!
Release Date: August 1, 2011
Abby and Luke chat online. They've never met. But they are going to. Soon.
Abby is starting high school—it should be exciting, so why doesn't she care? Everyone tells her to "make an effort," but why can't she just be herself? Abby quickly feels like she's losing a grip on her once-happy life. The only thing she cares about anymore is talking to Luke, a guy she met online, who understands. It feels dangerous and yet good to chat with Luke—he is her secret, and she's his. Then Luke asks her to meet him, and she does. But Luke isn't who he says he is. When Abby goes missing, everyone is left to put together the pieces. If they don't, they'll never see Abby again.
Thoughts:
I'm really excited to read this book!
After I read Stolen by Lucy Christopher, which I loved, I heard about this one and it's on my "must-read"-list! The cover is also interesting, it kind of matches the book and the plot.
What are you waiting for this week? Leave me a link in the comments and I'll make sure to check it out!

The Sweetest Thing - Christina Mandelski
Title: The Sweetest Thing
Author: Christina Mandelski
Pages: 352
Pub. Date: May 10, 2011
Source: Library
In the world of Sheridan Wells, life is perfect when she's decorating a cake. Unfortunately everything else is a complete mess: her mom ran off years ago, her dad is more interested in his restaurant, and the idea of a boyfriend is laughable.
But Sheridan is convinced finding her mom will solve all her problems - only her dad's about to get a cooking show in New York, which means her dream of a perfect family will be dashed.
Using just the right amount of romance, family drama, and cute boys, The Sweetest Thing will entice fans with its perfect mixture of girl-friendly ingredients.
My Thoughts:
I must say that The Sweetest Thing is the most beautiful book I've read this year (one of them). It's so sweet and cute and yeah, I sound all fangirly but, no kidding! I loved this book and I think everyone should read it!
The characters and the plot is realistic.
I was hooked from the very first page and I kept reading to the very end.
I loved Sheridan's passion for the Cake Designing! The way she could sit there and just design the cake is amazing. I also liked that she didn't give up on her mom and was looking for her. Waiting for her to come back. Sheridan's dad was awesome! I mean, how cool is it to have a chef for a dad? And, be on a show?! Give me break!
Sheridan's friends, Jack and Lori were also great and helped her search for her mother. Sheridan lived with her dad but also her Grandma, who was so supportive and took care of Sheridan. I thought that her grandma was like her mother.
The ending of the book was very suprising and you could never see it comming. If there were a sequel to this book I would, for sure, read it because, this book is simply unforgettable!

Angel Burn - L.A. Weatherly
Title: Angel Burn
Author: L.A. Weatherly
Pages: 449
Pub. Date: May 24, 2011
Source: Library
Willow knows she’s different from other girls, and not just because she loves tinkering with cars. Willow has a gift. She can look into the future and know people’s dreams and hopes, their sorrows and regrets, just by touching them. She has no idea where this power comes from. But the assassin, Alex, does. Gorgeous, mysterious Alex knows more about Willow than Willow herself. He knows that her powers link to dark and dangerous forces, and that he’s one of the few humans left who can fight them. When Alex finds himself falling in love with his sworn enemy, he discovers that nothing is as it seems, least of all good and evil. In the first book in an action-packed, romantic trilogy, L..A. Weatherly sends readers on a thrill-ride of a road trip - and depicts the human race at the brink of a future as catastrophic as it is deceptively beautiful.
They’re out for your soul . . . and they don’t have heaven in mind.
My Thoughts:
Angel Burn was awesome! The story was great and the characters had all a different but very important meaning/role in the story. Angel Burn was not like any angel book I've read and I loved how different it was.
Willow seemed like a smart girl. She tried to protect Beth and save her but that just brings her to the hole mess and soon she's on the run with a stranger called Alex. I liked reading about how Alex and Willows relationship got more deeper and with more trust in it.
Alex as a character was a very smart and thought before he acted. He and Willow were a great couple!
The ending of this book is action filled and explains a lot about the angels.
I've read many different reviews about Angel Burn and many people liked it while other, not so. I recomment it and I will definitely read the second book in this triology.

TGIF is hosted by Ginger from GReads!
That's a hard question. I have a lot of favorite quotes from books that I have read. Sometimes I can just relate to them and then I think they're very important or beautiful, sometimes I just think that this quote is great. The thing is, I love it when a book has a sentence that just make you fall in love with the book!
Here's some of the quotes that I love:
"I can't untie myself from you, Clary -- not my heart of my blood or my mind or any other part of me. And I don't want to."
Jace, City of Glass by Cassandra Clare
What are you wishing for? Grace interrupted. "To kiss you", I said to her.
Sam, Linger by Maggie Stiefvater
"Everyone is mad"
Errol, Mad Love by Suzanne Selfors
These are just a couple of hundreds.
What are your favorite quotes in books? :)

Darkest Mercy - Melissa Marr
Title: Darkest Mercy
Author: Melissa Marr
Pages: 327
Pub. Date: February 22, 2011
Source: Library
The Summer King is missing; the Dark Court is bleeding; and a stranger walks the streets of Huntsdale, his presence signifying the deaths of powerful fey.
Aislinn tends to the Summer Court, searching for her absent king and yearning for Seth. Torn between his new queen and his old love, Keenan works from afar to strengthen his court against the coming war. Donia longs for fiery passion even as she coolly readies the Winter Court for battle. And Seth, sworn brother of the Dark King and heir to the High Queen, is about to make a mistake that could cost his life.
Love, despair, and betrayal ignite the Faery Courts, and in the final conflict, some will win . . . and some will lose everything.
The thrilling conclusion to Melissa Marr's New York Times bestselling Wicked Lovely series will leave readers breathless.
My Thoughts:
I can't believe it's over! It's so sad that it's over. I need to stop and think and I don not know how to write this review. This book is so sad and happy in the same way. The ending was a bit surprising but I liked it.
Aislinn is still waiting for her king to come back to rule The Summer Court with her, Seth is trying to help his brother, The Dark King. Donia is like Aislinn, waiting for Keenan to come back but, she also needs to make decisions. The Dark Court is bleeding and Niall is very upset about Irials death.
Reading the Wicked Lovely series was just awesome and I'm sure I'm going to reread the book.
To be honest with you guys, I loved Ink Exchange. Mostly because the book was a lot about Irial and Niall but also it was amazing. I was Team Irial, yeah Irial is amazing! I, also, really liked Fragile Eternity. It was beautiful and the plot was great.
Wicked Lovely is awesome. Ink Exchange equals love. Fragile Eternity is beautiful. Radiant Shadows has a meaning. Darkest Mercy is the conclusion. Read.

Wicked Lovely is awesome. Ink Exchange equals love. Fragile Eternity is beautiful. Radiant Shadows has a meaning. Darkest Mercy is the conclusion. Read.

Waiting on Wednesday (8)
Hey guys! This week I'm waiting for Fury by Elizabeth Miles.
WoW is hosted by Jill from Breaking the Spine!
Also, make sure to enter my Grad Giveaway (Look for the link on the sidebar) where you have the chance to win 4 books!
August 30th, 2011
The first book in a paranormal teen trilogy featuring three beautiful, mysterious girls wreaking havoc on a small New England town.
Sometimes sorry isn't enough....
It’s winter break in Ascension, Maine. The snow is falling and everything looks pristine and peaceful. But not all is as it seems...
Between cozy traditions and parties with her friends, Emily loves the holidays. And this year’s even better--the guy she’s been into for months is finally noticing her. But Em knows if she starts things with him, there’s no turning back. Because his girlfriend is Em’s best friend.
On the other side of town, Chase is having problems of his own. The stress of his home life is starting to take its toll, and his social life is unraveling. But that’s nothing compared to what’s really haunting him. Chase has done something cruel...something the perfect guy he pretends to be would never do. And it’s only a matter of time before he’s exposed.
In Ascension, mistakes can be deadly. And three girls—three beautiful, mysterious girls—are here to choose who will pay.
Em and Chase have been chosen.
Thoughts:
This books seem to be really interesting! The synopsis is really catchy. I haven't heard of Elizabeth Miles before but, this seems like good book. The cover is also, very beautiful and the hair on the girl reminds of Fury. As soon as this book hits the shelves, I'm going to grab it!
What are you waiting for this week? Leave me a link in the comments and I'll make sure to check it out!

Bitter End - Jennifer Brown
Title: Bitter End
Author: Jennifer Brown
Pages: 359
Pub. Date: May 10, 2011
Source: Library
When Alex falls for the charming new boy at school, Cole, a handsome, funny, sports star who adores her, she can't believe she's finally found her soul mate-someone who truly understands her and loves her for who she really is.
At first, Alex is blissfully happy. Sure, Cole seems a little jealous of her relationship with her best friends, Zack and Bethany, but what guy would want his girlfriend spending all of her time with another boy? But as the months pass, Alex can no longer ignore Cole's small put-downs, pinches, or increasingly violent threats. As Alex struggles to come to terms with the sweet boyfriend she fell in love with and the boyfriend whose "love" she no longer recognizes, she is forced to choose - between her "true love" and herself.
My Thoughts:
Bitter End is a book about abuse. It book started off with presenting all the characters and role's in the book. We got to know Alex and her family. Her family story and her mother. Her awesome friends and Cole.
The characters in this book were all very strong and had their own power in the book.
The Colorado trip, who Alex had been planning since she was much younger was a great idea and even better when I found out that she would be going with her friends. But, then Cole came in to the picture and everything was ruined. I loved her relationship with Georgia! She was like her mother, always helped her and in the ending she is so sweet. Her relationship with her dad wasn't good, though. They barely talked since her mother's accident.
Her best friends, Zack and Bethany, were great. I loved them. How they forgave her every time and tried to cheer her up.
Bitter End is a very sad book but, it could happen to anyone. It's, also, beautiful. If you haven't read it, do so.

Across the Universe - Beth Revis
Title: Across the Universe
Author: Beth Revis
Pages: 398
Pub. Date: January 11, 2011
Source: Library
Seventeen-year-old Amy joins her parents as frozen cargo aboard the vast spaceship Godspeed and expects to awaken on a new planet, three hundred years in the future. Never could she have known that her frozen slumber would come to an end fifty years too soon and that she would be thrust into the brave new world of a spaceship that lives by its own rules.
Amy quickly realizes that her awakening was no mere computer malfunction. Someone-one of the few thousand inhabitants of the spaceship-tried to kill her. And if Amy doesn't do something soon, her parents will be next.
Now Amy must race to unlock Godspeed's hidden secrets. But out of her list of murder suspects, there's only one who matters: Elder, the future leader of the ship and the love she could never have seen coming.
My Thoughts:
I was really looking forward reading Across the Universe, I'd heard a lot of good stuff about it...I loved it. I normally don't like sci-fic but, this is an exception. Beth Revis created a beautiful but a little bit sad story on a spaceship that's supposed to land in a couple of years.
The story was written from Amy's and Elder's point if view. Amy was that kind of girl that you couldn't not like in a book. She was nice and did the whole thing only for her parents. I loved how she had these moments where she could remember everything back on Earth, her boyfriend, her family. Also, her relationship with Harley, not that they spent that much time together but, he tried to help her and showed her the ship. He could relate to her situation. I liked reading about how Elder and Amy's relationship grew and became stronger. The way they all helped each other trying to solve the mysteries on the ship.
Across the Universe was not a disappointment and I can't wait to read A Million Suns which will be released in 2012 by Razorbill.

Cover Reveal: Goddess Interrupted
Kate Winters has won immortality.
But if she wants a life in the Underworld with Henry, she’ll have to fight for it.
Becoming immortal wasn’t supposed to be the easy part. Though Kate is about to be crowned Queen of the Underworld, she’s as isolated as ever. And despite her growing love for Henry, ruler of the Underworld, he’s becoming ever more distant and secretive. Then, in the midst of Kate’s coronation, Henry is abducted by the only being powerful enough to kill him: the King of the Titans.
As the other gods prepare for a war that could end them all, it is up to Kate to save Henry from the depths of Tartarus. But in order to navigate the endless caverns of the Underworld, Kate must enlist the help of the one person who is the greatest threat to her future.
Henry’s first wife, Persephone.
Thoughts:
I read The Goddess Test a couple of weeks ago and I loved it! I'd heard many different thoughts about it but, I loved it. The ending was so good and now I just want to read Goddess Interrupted! The cover is very beautiful. It matches the first book and the cover model makes such a good picture of Kate! This book seem to be a really good one and the synopsis is catchy. I'm looking forward reading Goddess Interrupted.

YA Saves: How do you feel about the "dark" books
filling the YA shelves today?
I usually read the "dark" YA books and I really like them. They have this kind of twist in them! When I see a cover of a dark YA book in the bookstore and read the synopsis and then find another book which is realistic, I'd pick the "dark" one. That happens a lot with me. So, I think the authors should continue to write these kind of books because more and more people are being interested in them! What do you think?

Shift - Jeri Smith-Ready
Title: Shift (Shade #2)
Author: Jeri Smith-Ready
Pages: 367
Pub. Date: May 3, 3011
Source: Library
Aura’s life is anything but easy. Her boyfriend, Logan, died, and his slides between ghost and shade have left her reeling. Aura knows he needs her now more than ever. She loves Logan, but she can’t deny her connection with the totally supportive, totally gorgeous Zachary. And she’s not sure that she wants to.
Logan and Zachary will fight to be the one by her side, but Aura needs them both to uncover the mystery of her past—the mystery of the Shift.
As Aura’s search uncovers new truths, she must decide whom to trust with her secrets…and her heart.
My Thoughts:
This book is amazing. It has everything I wanted it have, if not even more. I loved it! I thought this one was better than Shade.
Aura is surprised to find Logan outside her window and even more surprised that she's touching him, he's solid! But, Aura knows that there's something that is not right and she needs to find out what it it. With Zachary, they start to uncover more truth about the Shift and discover more and more secrets. I was Team Logan in this book. He's so sweet!! Zachary, I think, is a bit annoying sometimes. The other characters were also amazing.
I love Jeri Smith-Ready's books so far. Her way to write is amazing. If you haven't read Shade, you need to do that!

Wicked - Sara Shepard
Title: Wicked
Author: Sara Shepard
Pub. Date: November 25, 2011
Source: Library
SPOILERS IF HAVEN'T READ PREVOUS BOOKS!
In idyllic Rosewood, Pennsylvania, four very pretty girls just can't help but be bad. . . .
Hanna will do anything to be Rosewood's queen bee. Spencer's digging up her family's secrets. Emily can't stop thinking about her new boyfriend. And Aria approves a little too strongly of her mom's taste in men.
My Thoughts:
Another Pretty Little Liars novel and I'm not disappointed. Wicked is great. The girls think they are safe now, but they're wrong.
Spencer thinks she's adopted, after her grandmothers funeral. Hanna will do anything to be the schools queen bee and compete with her stepsister-to-be Katie. Aria doesn't like that her mom is dating men who's not in her age group and Emily is so happy that she finally has boyfriend. But, the girls keep getting texts from A if they don't watch out, something bad is going to happen.
The PPL books are completely different from the series and I definitely recommend them!

Abandon - Meg Cabot
Title: Abandon
Author: Meg Cabot
Pages: 320
Pub. Date: April 26, 2011
Source: Library
Though she tries returning to the life she knew before the accident, Pierce can't help but feel at once a part of this world, and apart from it. Yet she's never alone . . . because someone is always watching her. Escape from the realm of the dead is impossible when someone there wants you back.
But now she's moved to a new town. Maybe at her new school, she can start fresh. Maybe she can stop feeling so afraid.
Only she can't. Because even here, he finds her. That's how desperately he wants her back. She knows he's no guardian angel, and his dark world isn't exactly heaven, yet she can't stay away . . . especially since he always appears when she least expects it, but exactly when she needs him most.
But if she lets herself fall any further, she may just find herself back in the one place she most fears: the Underworld.
My Thoughts:
I enjoyed reading Abandon. It was great! A little bit slow from the beginning but gets better and better for every chapter and hello!! Greek Mythology!!
The main character, Pierce, was so different from the other characters in the book. It felt like she was so scared of John but ,also, had feelings for him. She had experienced death and she thought that it would be different. I wouldn't say it was death. Now, John is here and other places to, because he wants her back but she doesn't want to go. As Pierce starts to make friends and enjoy her time, other stuff begins to happen and now Pierce needs to stop them.
I'm definitely going to read Underworld, because this book ended really good and if you haven't read it, it's worth the time.

Book Love: Do you share your books with others?
Who was the last person you sent a book to?
I share my books with people I trust. I give them the books so that they can read them and not destroy them. Sometimes, I've shared a book with someone and when they gave it back it was all destroyed and one of the pages was ripped. So, I always want my books to look like new.
The last time a sent a book was actually last week, I sent it to my friend in Sweden, because the book wasn't out there yet so I let her borrow it and when I got it back yesterday, everything was perfect!

Sometimes lies come back to bite you. In the case of four pretty little Pennsylvania liars, the chomp really hurts. For years, cuties Spencer, Aria, Hanna, and Emily have survived and thrived with nifty prevarications; now, in this series clincher, it's time for them to 'fess up-or pay the piper! Clever plot turns; great characters
My Thoughts:
Pure awesomeness!! These books make me finish each one of them in less than a couple of hours. They are different from the series but how can you not love them?!
Hanna is still in coma after the "accident". Emily's parent sends her to Iowa to live with her Aunt and Uncle, but it doesn't turn out to be that good. Aria is still thinking about her ex-boyfriend and teacher who is behind bars and Spencer is having her own little family problems. As the girls starts getting more darker messages they need to know who A is before something really bad happens.
In this book we finally get to know who A is and who killed Alison. If you're excited about this, go read them. You won't regret it!

Waiting on Wednesday (6)
Hey everyone! This week I'm waiting for A Beautiful Dark by Jocelyn Davies.
WoW is hosted by Jill from Breaking the Spine!
September 27th, 2011
Skye never questioned the story of her life. Her Aunt Jo adopted her after the death of her parents when she was just a child, and together they flip through memories the way some people flip through photo albums.
She never questioned if the stories were true.
Until the night of her 17th birthday, when the arrival of two strangers intrudes on her cozy life. Polar opposites, like fire and ice, Asher is dark and wild, while Devin is fair, cold, and aloof. Skye has no idea what they want—only that their presence coincides with the beginning of some shockingly strange events. Events that Skye, if she dares to think it, might be responsible for causing.
High up in the mountains of Boulder, Colorado, Skye finds herself caught in the middle of an ancient battle, one that began untold millennia ago. Torn between unpredictable Asher, whom she loves, and the infuriating Devin, who she can’t stay away from, her fate is murky as a starless night. And as the secrets of her true identity are revealed, Skye realizes that her destiny may reside in the Heavens—or somewhere darker
....Doesn't this book seem too exciting?! I can't wait for it and seriously, I luuv the cover. September 27 is so far away....

Torn between unpredictable Asher, whom she loves, and the infuriating Devin, who she can’t stay away from, her fate is murky as a starless night. And as the secrets of her true identity are revealed, Skye realizes that her destiny may reside in the Heavens—or somewhere darker
